Our project embarked on a captivating journey that commenced with a comprehensive exploration of bending-active structures. We delved deep into the realm of architectural innovation, diligently studying the principles and complexities of grid shell structures. Leveraging the power of Kangaroo Physics within the Grasshopper platform, we embarked on the simulation phase, meticulously crafting various grid shell shapes and configurations. This computational approach allowed us to not only visualize but also experiment with different designs, refining them to find the perfect balance between structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. Finally, we chose a grid shell model to fabricate.
