CELLCITY

The goal of this project was to implement Cellular Automata Algorithm in architectural design in GH Python environment.
In my work, I have harnessed this computational power to create realistic high-rise structures. By inputting specific parameters and rules into the automata, I could generate diverse architectural designs. This project not only showcases the potential of computational creativity but also opens up exciting possibilities for optimizing cityscapes and exploring innovative building designs. In the project’s concluding phase, I transitioned from generating an 8x8 grid-based tower using the Cellular Automata Algorithm to a fully realized residential building design. Leveraging Rhino.Inside.Revit, I ensured that the initial concept met practical architectural standards.
