Role
I worked as the computational designer under Anaisa Franco’s artistic and fabrication direction. My role was to develop the Costa minimal surface made of flat pieces, designed to accommodate solar lights. The pieces were connected using plastic bolts. I was responsible for preparing the fabrication documents and files for laser cutting the pieces and cutting the steel ring, and creating an annotated 3D model for assembly. I communicated with the engineer to modify the design, ensuring it met structural constraints. Additionally, I developed the presentation diagrams for the project.
